Treasurer’s Report

  • Account Balance: $68,370.10
  • Outstanding Balance: $4,025.00

Design Review

  • A few this week, all looked good

Shed Ammendment Passed

  • Vast majority voted yes
  • Lawyers are handling filing with city, will let us know next steps

Accountant

  • Brief explanation of who Ben is
  • Notice that we’ve passed bill payment on to Ben, instead of Dave handling

Davey Tree

  • Contract with them to continue, lowest price and good service
  • $22,315.00 – same as last year
  • Idea from previous meeting of adding flowers to entrance

Pollinator Gardens

  • They’re not looking good
  • Davey can handle, but we should look into it more. Need to confirm if they have an actual pollinator guy

Garage Sale

  • Coming this weekend
  • Shout out to new letter board
  • We have little directional signs, home owners can decorate their own mailboxes
  • Dave needs to rush sign at corner
  • Jed to make map: printed flyers and up online

Getting bylaws re-written to be cleaner

  • Currently on the website as scanned PDFs, hard to read
  • Lawyers able to do it for $2,000 or so
  • Jed to look for people on Fiverr

New letter board purchased

  • $360

Electrical outlets at front entrance

  • Need to look back at who installed it
  • Davey has an electrician that can look at it
  • Dave reached out to Dennis, no response yet
  • Check that one big box

Holes in fence

  • Call out to fence company for quote

Quickbooks verification

  • Need to submit paperwork to prove 501 tax status
  • Assigned to Ben

Maintenance Walkthrough

  • To be done July / August by Dave and Rowdy
  • Explanation of process for residents in attendance
  • Question on how to follow up with houses who have not fixed things year-over-year
  • Resident: complaint on yards that have weeds and overgrowth, why aren’t we doing walks more often
  • Resident: suggestion that each street have volunteers to walk more often
  • Resident: put comment box at end of street for telling on people
  • Idea to form “maintenance team” that can help
  • Ask for volunteers in newsletter and on facebook
  • Add as item when Dave sends letter about sheds
  • Resident: question about gardens, specifically that one house on Parkland

Resident Participation

Question about rentals

  • Who pays yearly dues, owner or renter?
  • Should be owner, but we can’t really enforce that either way

Question about moving all communication to email

  • It just isn’t realistically feasible
  • We can ask title company for new home owner’s email address to start building database
  • It’d be nice to send a welcome packet and invitation to meeting

New Welcome packet to include

  • by-laws
  • invitation to next meeting
  • call out for website

Fire house on Andover

  • Explanation of insurance troubles
  • There is a ‘for sale’ sign

Streetlight down on Dayflower, city is finally fixing

Discussion on sidewalks being fixed

Further discussion on walkthrough and by-laws concerning trash cans and satellite dishes
